Être, c est être
To be is to be
Let s just BE.
A torture! To be just BE could bubble up internal and external conflicts. We are surrounded by the what should or should
not be done; defined by two main contrasts: culture and disability. Amazingly how two broad seemingly-simple definitions
could have huge chain impacts on each one of us every single minute of our lives. Could we decide one day to forget the whole
thing and to be just BE? Where else could we turn to?

IMAGINE!
Do you take pride in being deaf? No.
Is deaf a disability? No.
Do you believe in deaf culture? No.
Is deaf lacking something? No.
Each one of us has a place, a reason for living. Brain-washed definitions cover us. It often takes us a long time before
self-discovery occurs. When we come to the point of becoming in touch with our inner voice, we empower ourselves. It disconnects
us from learnt ideas and thoughts, to become NOT as a SOMETHING or SOMEONE created by the others.
The slapping labels! The existing labels today did not exist 100 years ago and who knows what will be created 100 years
later.
If and when we take them away : Disability, Culture, Deaf or such, would not exist. Where would that place us? We become
walking homo sapiens on the earth zoo.
Labels protect us. We take refuge behind the letters.
Labels destroy us. Our own truth is sculpted by the letters.
Could we decide one day to be just BE? Where else could we turn to?
A torture!
